Curt & Samantha...Married!!!

My good friends, Curt & Samantha are officially Mr. & Mrs. Roda!!! I was honored to stand up with them at the wedding, so I was not the actual photographer, but, of course, I brought my camera with me and snapped a few shots here and there.

They were married in beautiful Goldfield, Arizona...a tiny litte ghost town in eastern Arizona. It had rained buckets all week, so the sky was amazingly gorgeous against the Superstition Mountains, which served as the backdrop for the wedding. The wedding had a country theme, so the groom and his men wore cowboy hats and the bride and her maids wore cowboy boots. Samantha looked absolutely stunning in her vintage style, lace dress...she made it very easy to get good shots! :)

Here are a few of my favorites from both the wedding and the bridal shower. Enjoy!

Sweet Babies

I was watching my friends' kids the other day and Baby J was supposed to be napping...instead...I heard crib springs and "MoMo...MoMo!...MOMO!!!!!!" So I walked in and he was bouncing up and down in his crib, so I grabbed my camera, Miss A and Big Boy J, threw them in the crib and started snapping away. Here are some of the shots. These kiddos are sooo cute!!! :)

The Trotting Track

A couple of friends from work and I went out on a photo adventure on Monday...we went to this old rundown horse racing track and took a bunch of pictures. We even got busted for trespassing by two old guys on a golf cart!

The building itself is really cool. It opened around 1960 and was run by The Mob...it stayed open for 2 seasons and was shut down because they couldn't afford to keep it open. The freeway (the I-10) was not built yet, so there wasn't a lot of traffic that far west. They ended up finding a lot of asbestos in the grandstands, so they never re-opened it.

Anyway, there's your history lesson for the day. I will have the rest of the pictures posted in the next couple of days. Have a great week! :)
